CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) continues to intensify its internal cleansing efforts, resolving a total of 73 administrative cases from January 1 to April 30, 2026.
Records show that among the resolved cases, 13 resulted in dismissal from the service, 36 in suspension, 17 were exonerated or found not guilty, 5 resulted in reprimand, and 2 led to demotion.
The cases involved 20 Police Commissioned Officers (PCOs), 77 Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs), and 1 Non-Uniformed Personnel (NUP)—highlighting PRO3’s firm stance that accountability applies across all ranks.
PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B Mendez, emphasized that internal discipline remains a top priority in ensuring effective and credible policing.
“In line with the Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP, P/Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly on integrity monitoring and organizational accountability, we continue to strengthen our internal cleansing efforts. Discipline within the ranks is non-negotiable. We will hold accountable those who violate the law, while ensuring that due process is strictly observed,” RD Mendez said.
