CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Pampanga operatives arrested a High-Value Individual (HVI) on Wednesday (May 6) night during a buy-bust operation conducted in Purok 7, Brgy. San Pedro Cutud, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The operation was jointly carried out by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Pampanga Police Provincial Office, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU)-Pampanga, and City of San Fernando Police Station in coordination with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 3.
Authorities confiscated around 70 grams of suspected shabu, including the subject of sale, with an estimated standard drug price of P476,000.00.
The arrested individual was informed of his constitutional rights and brought, together with the confiscated evidence, to the PDEU office for proper disposition and documentation.
PRO3 Director Jess B. Mendez commended the operating units for the successful operation and reiterated PRO3’s commitment in sustaining aggressive anti-illegal drug operations across the region.
“Operations like this reflect our unwavering commitment to protect our communities from the harmful effects of illegal drugs. We will continue to intensify intelligence-driven operations and strengthen coordination with partner agencies to ensure safer and more secure communities in Central Luzon,” RD Mendez said.
