SM City Baliwag launches ‘Art for Everyone 2026’

Bringing Bulacan’s vibrant art scene to the public

BALIWAG CITY — SM City Baliwag has transformed its mall atrium into a vibrant celebration of Filipino artistry with the launch of Art for Everyone, a week-long exhibit that makes visual art more accessible and collectible.

Running until July 17, the exhibit reimagines the typical gallery experience by transforming a public space into a dynamic hub where shoppers, art aficionados, cultural advocates, and collectors may discover, appreciate, and acquire original works created by at least 115 talented visual artists from Bulacan.

VISITORS at the Art for Everyone exhibit in SM City Baliwag get an intimate look at standout artworks, taking in the details that speak to Bulacan’s rich artistic heritage.

More than just an exhibition, Art for Everyone is a platform that empowers local artists, including young and emerging ones, while also building significant cultural ties with the community.

Officially opened on July 4, the exhibit showcases a total of 310 artworks that consist of paintings, mixed-media pieces, and digital art that reflects the province’s rich artistic heritage and contemporary creative expression.

The exhibit is mounted in partnership with the Provincial History, Arts, Culture, and Tourism Office (PHACTO), Baliwag Tourism Office, Alumni of Bulacan State University College of Architecture & Fine Arts, the JEFARCA Arts and Historical Society Inc., Bahaghari ng Malolos, Sibul, Katha, Lumina Art Group, Ugnayang Sining Tomasino, San Rafael Art Colektiv, and Lunday Hagonoy Art Group.

Art for Everyone 2026 builds on its award-winning success as a flagship, advocacy-led initiative that champions accessibility, inclusivity, and community-driven creativity.

Recognized globally with Gold at the 2025 Asia Pacific Stevie Awards and Gold at the 2025 International Business Awards, the program continues to redefine how art is experienced—transforming SM malls into vibrant cultural marketplaces where art is not only showcased but lived, shared, and made accessible to all.

Rodora Tolentino, Mall Manager of SM City Baliwag Mall, stated that Art for Everyone is more than just an exhibit; it is also a platform.

“We envision our mall as a place where creativity thrives, artists may grow, and people from all walks of life can discover and bring home a piece of Filipino art.”

Everyone is welcome to experience Art for Everyone 2026 at your most loved SM City Baliwag and 25 other participating SM malls nationwide.

Visitors can discover and collect original works by talented local artists, immerse themselves in inspiring exhibits, and celebrate Filipino creativity while supporting the country’s vibrant art scene. (UnliNews Online)
