CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) ranked No. 1 nationwide in the June 2026 Monthly Unit Performance Evaluation Rating, topping all 17 other Police Regional Offices in the country.
The ranking reflects the collective performance of PRO3 across key areas of police operations, administration, community relations, and organizational management. More importantly, it highlights the consistent work of police personnel and units on the ground in carrying out their responsibilities across Central Luzon.
PRO3 Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez credited the achievement to the discipline, teamwork, and dedication of the men and women of PRO3.
“This achievement belongs to every PRO3 personnel who faithfully performs his or her duty each day. Being No. 1 nationwide is an honor, but it also carries a greater responsibility. We have to sustain what we have achieved, continue improving, and make sure that our performance is felt where it matters most—in the communities we serve,” P/BGen. Mendez said.
The Regional Director said the recognition should not be viewed simply as a ranking, but as an added challenge for PRO3 personnel to maintain high standards of professionalism and deliver better police service to the public.
Guided by the leadership of Chief, PNP P/Gen. Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr, PRO3 continues to advance the PNP Focused Agenda through sustained law enforcement operations, stronger police-community partnerships, and responsive public service in Central Luzon, consistent with the commitment to “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman.”
P/BGen. Mendez also expressed his appreciation to PRO3 personnel, local government units, partner agencies, stakeholders, and the communities whose cooperation remains vital to maintaining peace and order in the region.
For PRO3, the nationwide recognition is not the finish line. It is a reminder to keep raising the standard and, more importantly, to ensure that good performance translates into safer communities and police service that people can see, feel, and trust. (UnliNews Online)
