CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — The week-long anti-criminality campaign of Central Luzon police from June 12-18, 2023 yielded a total of 420 arrested persons, 9,435.53 grams of voluminous illegal drugs, and P63,591.00 cash bets, PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr. said.
Among the 420 arrests, 137 of whom are wanted with strings of warrants ranging from Murder, Rape, and Frustrated Murder, 149 were nabbed for illegal drugs, 114 were accosted for illegal gambling, 15 were arrested for illegal possession of a firearm, and 5 were apprehended for violation of other special laws.
Also, 62 assorted firearms were confiscated including 9,435.53 grams of Shabu and marijuana with a DDB value of P3,404,986.40 and P63,591.00 cash bets.
Hidalgo also said that the accomplishments are the result of timely coordination, intelligence-driven operations of different police units, and strong support of local officials as well as those in the private sector in the region.
“PRO3 remains steadfast in mobilizing its resources along with its continuous efforts to address lawlessness in the region,” he added. (UnliNews Online)
