Bulacan police collared 39 lawbreakers in a 24-hour anti-criminality campaign

CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS — The Bulacan cops arrested a total of thirty-nine law violators and wanted felons in a 24-hour anti-criminality campaign on Wednesday and early Thursday, Col. Relly Arnedo, the provincial director reported.

Arnedo said during an interview on Thursday (June 22), for the last 24 hours, Bulacan police arrested thirty-nine drug peddlers and users, wanted persons, and illegal gamblers.

Among the arrest made was the Top Most Wanted of Makilala police, North Cotabato, and ranked 9 in the Province of Cotabato. The Meycauayan tracker team together with personnel from Makilala PNP arrested Lyod Parilla Wednesday morning at Brgy.Pajo, Meycauayan City for violation of RA 7610. The accused is currently detained at Meycauayan City, Police Station for proper disposition prior to turn over to the court of origin.

Furthermore, Meycauayan police arrested Nilo Calimutan for RIR in damage to property and with slight and multiple serious physical injuries.

Additionally, Bulacan 1st PMFC tracker team located and arrested three individuals with warrants of arrest for qualified rape, violation of 7610, and RIR Damage to Property while DRT police arrested Leonardo Sarmiento and Richard Cruz by virtue of court-issued warrants of arrest for Unjust Vexation.

On the other hand, the Bocaue police tracker team arrested Christopher Ian De Leon at Brgy Batia, Bocaue, Bulacan for the crime of Murder without bail and Bulakan police arrested Pascualito Carpio in Barangay Bagumbayan, Bulakan, Bulacan for Estafa.

Intel-driven police operations against illegal drugs arrested 16 drug peddlers and users and confiscated a total of fifty-five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of shabu and P38,000 worth of marijuana.

Marilao PNP intel operatives collared two PNP/PDEA watchlisted individuals on a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Lambakin, Marilao, Bulacan. Arrested were Crisanto Espiritu and Conrado Gonzales and the confiscation of marijuana leaves worth P38,000.

Also, Baliwag and Angat police arrested street-level individuals in PNP/PDEA watch list on separate buy-bust operations identified as Ricky Rustia, in Brgy Poblacion, Baliwag, and Rozano Pascual in Brgy. San Roque, Angat.

Bulacan Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit on the other hand conducted separate buy-bust operations that led to the arrest of Joy Venancio in Baliuag and Medardo Perez in Marilao. Other buy-bust operations that led to the arrest of 10 other drug peddlers were conducted by the Guiguinto, Bustos, San Jose del Monte, and Mecauayan drug enforcement Units.

Meanwhile, the Bulacan PNP’s campaign against illegal gambling arrested nine individuals, San Jose del Monte police arrested four individuals while playing “pusoy” at Amihan Road, Brgy. Santo Cristo, CSJDM, Bulacan, while Guiguinto police arrested three caught in the act -playing Tongits in Brgy. Sta Cruz, Guiguinto, Bulacan, also Angat, and San Ildefonso police made individual arrests for STL Bookies in Brgy. Santa Cruz, Angat and Brgy. Akle, San Ildefonso, Bulacan respectively.

Hidalgo Jr., the Regional Director of PRO3, the Bulacan PNP exemplifies unwavering dedication in their efforts to combat drug-related offenses, apprehend wanted individuals, and curb illegal gambling activities within the province,” Arnedo added.
