CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Joint operatives of Provincial Intelligence Unit- Pampanga PPO, Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Arayat MPS conducted an entrapment operation at Brgy Arenas, Arayat, Pampanga, on Sunday ( April 2) which resulted in the seizure of several firearms and illegal drugs while three suspects managed to elude arrest.
Brig. Gen. Jose S. Hidalgo Jr., regional director PRO3 said that operating team seized one cal. 45; one cal. 38; one cal. 45 magazine; one bundle of cash amounting to P20,000 in different denominations; one Gray Ford Ranger with conduction number C4Z198; one Nokia keypad cellular phone; one A71 Samsung cellular phone; and two large plastic packages containing suspected shabu weighing approximately sixty grams and estimated street value of P408,000.00.
The suspects who are still the subject of follow-up operation were identified as Faisal Rinabor, Najira Bertudan, and Jamel Abubacar, all residents of Tugaya, Lanao Del Sur.
“We vow to clamp down on lawlessness as we continue to carry out various law enforcement operations and security measures to ensure public safety and security as well as maintain peace and order in the communities of Central Luzon,” Hidalgo also said. (UnliNews Online)
