CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — In an anti-drug operation conducted on Monday (Aug. 12) in Cabanatuan City, two individuals were arrested, and over 130 grams of suspected shabu were seized by authorities.
In his report to PRO3 officer in charge, Brig. Gen. Banjamin DL Sembrano, Nueva Ecija PPO Director Col. Richard Caballero detailed that a buy-bust operation was executed by joint personnel from the Cabanatuan City Police Station-Intel/Drug Enforcement Unit (CCPS-Intel/DEU) and the Nueva Ecija Provincial Police Office-Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (NEPPO-PPDEU) on Rizal Street, Purok 3, Barangay Rizdeliz, Cabanatuan City.
This operation led to the arrest of alias “Jam,” a 38-year-old local vendor, and “Zelle,” a 41-year-old online seller, along with the seizure of 130 grams of suspected shabu, with a standard drug price of P884,000.00.
Sembrano commended the operatives for their dedication and diligence in the ongoing campaign against illegal drugs. He stated, “This successful operation is a testament to the relentless efforts of our police force to eradicate illegal drug activities in the region. We will continue to pursue those who threaten the safety and security of our communities.”
Both suspects and the confiscated evidence have been taken to the Cabanatuan City Police Station for proper disposition. Further investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the suspects’ involvement in illegal drug activities. (UnliNews Online)
