MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — In two separate buy-bust operations in Barangay Dau on Thursday night (April 13), two improvised drug dens were taken down, leading to the arrest of eight drug suspects and the confiscation of about Php 159,600 worth of shabu.
The first operation took place at around 10:32 pm and led to the arrest of four drug suspects, including its operator, 42-year-old Marlon L. Pascual, alias Jesus, as well as the confiscation of 10 grams of shabu worth P69,900 and various drug paraphernalia.
By 11:20 p.m., the second sting was completed, and 13 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P89,700.00 and several other items were seized.
The operation was conducted by agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III- Tarlac Provincial Office.
Cases for violation of Republic Act 9165 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 will be charged against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
