PRO3 joins kick-off ceremony for 30th PCR Month celebration

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) actively participated in the kick-off ceremony of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month with the theme “Sa Bagong Pilipinas, Ang Gusto ng Pulis, Ligtas Ka,” held on Tuesday (July 1), at the PRO3 Patrol Hall, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The event was graced by Director Evangeline Almirante, Regional Director of the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) Region 3, who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.

In her keynote address, Dir. Almirante underscored the vital role of strong police-community partnerships in building a safe and progressive society. She lauded PRO3’s efforts in sustaining public trust through genuine community engagement.

In his message, PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Ponce Rogelio I Peñones Jr. emphasized the importance of PCR Month in reinforcing community-centered policing.

“This month-long celebration is a testament to our continuous commitment to bring the police closer to the people. True peace and order can only be achieved when there is mutual trust, cooperation, and understanding between the police and the community,” Peñones said.

He added, guided by the Chief PNP’s three key pillars—aggressive law enforcement, intensified community engagement, and strengthened public safety— we in PRO3 remain steadfast in delivering swift, responsive, and compassionate public service. We are your partners, your protectors, and your constant allies in building a better and safer Central Luzon.”

Various activities aimed at deepening public engagement, promoting human rights, and fostering trust between the police and the community will be carried out this whole month of July. (UnliNews Online)
