6 suspects fall in Nueva Ecija drug den raid

CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Six individuals were arrested inside a makeshift drug den following a buy-bust operation on Wednesday afternoon (Aug. 26) at around 5:40 p.m. in Barangay San Juan Accfa Cabanatuan City.

According to the report of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija Provincial Office, The arrest also led to the confiscation of some Php 74,800.00 worth of suspected shabu.

PDEA Nueva Ecija identified the arrested suspects by their aliases: Lyn-Lyn, female, 26 years old; JM, male, 23; Dan, male, 34; Rian, male, 29; Binoy, male, 18; and Tonyo, male, 22.

A total of 9 pieces of plastic transparent sachets containing roughly 11 grams of suspected shabu (worth P74,800), assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money were recovered by the operating teams.

The operation was conducted by the combined elements of PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and and the local police.

Apprehended suspects will face charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
