MABALACAT CITY, PAMPANGA – Approximately P136,000 worth of shabu was seized from six drug suspects following a buy-bust operation at around 11:37 a.m., in Barangay Dau, on Monday (July 13).
The operation by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Pampanga Provincial Office also led to the discovery and dismantling of a drug den operated by the main target.
PDEA identified the main target of the operation as alias Eli, male, 64 years old. The other five suspects were identified by their aliases as alias Coco, male, 50 years old; alias Ves, male, 29; alias Lon-Lon, male, 48; alias El, male, 45; and alias Ritchi, male, 42.
Operating teams recovered four sachets containing roughly 20 grams of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia; and the marked money used by the poseur buyer.
Arrested suspects will be detained at PDEA-3 jail facility, while confiscated illegal substances will undergo forensic examination at PDEA-3 laboratory.
The operation was conducted through the collaborative effort between PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office and the local police.
Arrested suspects will face appropriate charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
