SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga — The Pampanga Press Club (PPC)believes in unified action to help relieve suffering. Like in November last year during the onslaught of Typhoon Uwan, we are participating again in Ripple Of Hope, a distribution of Ready-To-Eat meals to our Cabalens who are badly affected by torrential rains and massive flooding.
With support from Mekeni Food Corp, business leaders like Pruds S. Garcia, Rene G. Romero and Chef Felix Niño Asuncion, donors and volunteers, a total of 10,000 food packs have been prepared and being distributed this month of August alone.
This may take a long haul as storm season is far from over. We join calls for more donations to this endeavor. (UnliNews Online)
