CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Three drug suspects tagged as high-value targets were arrested following a successful buy-bust operation on Wednesday afternoon (July 15) in Barangay Padre Crisostomo.
Based on the report of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Nueva Ecija, the operation also led to the dismantling of a makeshift drug den and the confiscation of suspected shabu worth approximately P68,000.00.
PDEA operatives identified the arrested suspects as alias Claire, female, 28 years old; alias Joms, male, 29 years old; and alias Jojo, male, 18 years old.
Recovered from the suspects were eight heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing approximately 10 grams of suspected, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at the PDEA Region 3 Detention Facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The operation was conducted by the combined personnel of the PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and the Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office – Drug Enforcement Unit.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being prepared for filing in court. (UnliNews Online)
