CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) arrested five drug suspects and seized approximately P1.55 million worth of suspected illegal drugs in three separate operations in Bataan and Bulacan recently.
In Dinalupihan, Bataan, two suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation that yielded approximately 57.69 grams of suspected shabu valued at P392,292.00

Hours earlier in Limay, police implemented a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of another suspect and the recovery of about 99.62 grams of suspected shabu worth P677,416.00 along with drug paraphernalia.
Meanwhile, in the City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, two suspects were arrested in another buy-bust operation, where authorities seized approximately four kilograms of suspected marijuana valued at P480,000.00
PRO3 Regional Director P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez said the successive operations reflect the command’s sustained effort to keep illegal drugs away from communities.
“These accomplishments are not simply about the quantity or value of the drugs we recover. What matters is preventing these illegal substances from reaching our streets and our families. We will continue intelligence-driven and lawful operations while strengthening our partnership with the communities we serve,” Mendez said.
The operations support the PNP Focused Agenda of Chief, PNP PGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., particularly Enhanced Managing Police Operations, which promotes smarter, faster, intelligence-driven, and responsive police action, together with stronger community support. Philippine Information Agency
Mendez also encouraged the public to report criminal incidents and urgent suspicious activities that require police response. Through the DILG’s Unified 911 Emergency Response System, the public has a single emergency number that connects callers with police and other responders, allowing faster coordination and dispatch when immediate assistance is needed. “Our communities are an important part of crime prevention. When people report incidents early, we are better positioned to respond quickly and prevent a situation from becoming more serious. Unified 911 gives our people a direct and easier way to call for help when it matters most,” PBGEN Mendez added.
The arrested suspects are now under police custody while appropriate charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared. (UnliNews Online)
