Bulacan honors RD Mendez for outstanding public safety, anti-smuggling efforts

CITY OF MALOLOS — The Sangguniang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan honored Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) and its Regional Director, P/Brig. Gen. Jess B. Mendez for his outstanding contributions to public safety, peace and order, and anti-smuggling efforts that have significantly benefited the Province of Bulacan.

On Monday (August 3) during the Lingguhang Pagtaas ng Watawat held at the Bulacan Capitol Gymnasium in the sid city, the Provincial Government of Bulacan conferred a Provincial Resolution of Recognition upon RD Mendez.

The resolution commended his leadership in steering PRO3 toward achieving the Top 1 Safer Cities Initiative of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Top 1 Campaign Against Smuggling, accomplishments that have contributed to the continued peace, order, and economic security of the province.

The recognition underscores the strong partnership between the Philippine National Police and the Provincial Government of Bulacan in advancing programs that promote safer communities, strengthen law enforcement, and protect legitimate businesses and the public from the adverse effects of criminal activities.

Receiving the recognition, Gen. Mendez expressed his gratitude to the Provincial Government of Bulacan with the leadership of Governor Daniel Fernando and VG Alex Castro and emphasized that the award is a testament to the collective efforts of every PRO3 personnel and partner agency.

“This recognition is not mine alone but belongs to every police officer of Police Regional Office 3 who continues to serve with dedication, integrity, and professionalism. It reflects our shared commitment with our local government partners to keep our communities safe, uphold the rule of law, and protect the welfare of our people. We are deeply honored by this recognition, and it inspires us to work even harder in delivering meaningful public service.”

Mendez likewise reaffirmed PRO3’s unwavering commitment to sustaining its gains in crime prevention, anti-smuggling operations, and community safety initiatives in line with the Focused Agenda of the Chief, PNP, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., while continuously delivering “Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat, at Nararamdaman” to every community across Central Luzon. (UnliNews Online)
