MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 3 (PDEA RO3), in collaboration with the local police, dismantled a makeshift drug den and arrested four drug suspects following a buy-bust operation on Friday afternoon (Aug. 7) in Barangay Dapdap in his city.
PDEA team leader said the drug operation conducted about 3:30 p.m. and identified the arrested suspects by their aliases as “Jay”, male, 42 years old (drug den operator); “Ton-ton”, male, 37 years old; “Rico”, male, 18 years old; and “OTEP”, male, 25 years old.
Recovered from the suspects were eight grams of suspected shabu worth P 54,400.00, assorted sniffing paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives from PDEA Provincial Offices in Tarlac and Pampanga, and the local police.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) are being prepared for filing in court against the suspects. (UnliNews Online)
