CAMP GEN. ALEJO S. SANTOS, Malolos City — The Santa Maria Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) arrested an unlawful gun owner and seized illegal drugs worth P408,000.00 on Saturday (June 24).
PCol. Relly B. Arnedo, Provincial Director Bulacan PNP, identified the arrested suspect as Raymond Bautista during a buy-bust operation and sequestered one piece of Cal. 45 Charles Daly, one piece magazine for Cal. 45 loaded, six live ammunition for cal. .45 and illegal drugs with a standard drug price amounting to P408,000.00.
He added that Saturday’s operations also seized four guns and ammunition.
The search and seizure executed by the Meycauayan police against Benjamin Joson yielded one unit Cal. 357 Magnum, one unit of Cal. 22 Revolver, and six pieces of live Cal. 357 Magnum ammunition. As well as the successful operation conducted by the CIDG Bulacan PFU and Bocaue MPS against Crisanto Sabalbarino for gun running confiscated one Cal. 38 revolver.
The arrested suspect was also a High-Value Individual listed on PNP/ PDEA watchlist. Moreover, buy-bust operations conducted by Baliwag DEU collared another High-Value Individual listed in PNP/ PDEA watchlist, Vincent Torres was arrested confiscating from his possession eight (8 plastic sachets of shabu.
Meanwhile, Malolos DEU arrested Allen Daryll NMN Clavio seized from his possession three hundred twenty-four grams (324g) in thirty-six (36) pieces of stapled plastic sachet containing marijuana fruiting tops with a standard drug price of Php 38,880.00.
Intensified campaign against wanted persons by the different tracker teams of Bulacan PNP located and arrested nine individuals with court-issued warrants of arrest. While police operation against illegal gambling conducted by the Baliwag police collared two gamblers while playing an illegal card game.
