CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Approximately P170,000.00 worth of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) was seized from a male drug suspect after a successful buy-bust operation on Wednesday at around 1 p.m. in Purok 7, Barangay San Isidro.
PDEA team leader identified the arrested suspect as alias Ruru, 44 years old.
Operating teams confiscated 5 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing roughly 25 grams of suspected shabu (valued at P170,00), one smartphone, one unit Toyota Veloz, and the buy-bust money.
Recovered illegal drugs will be forwarded to PDEA-3 laboratory for forensic examination and confirmation.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives led by PDEA Nueva Ecija Provincial Office and Nueva Ecija PPO- Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU).
The apprehended suspect will be charged for violation of section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs), and section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs), Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (UnliNews Online)
