CITY OF MALOLOS — Governor Daniel R. Fernando received the People’s Governor Excellence Award from the World Class Excellence Japan Awards (WCEJA) during their 10th Anniversary held at Heritage Hotel Manila on Thursday night in Pasay City (June 18).
Fernando offered the award to every Bulakenyo who serves as his strength in continuing to deliver honest and meaningful service to the Province of Bulacan.
“Naniniwala tayo na ang tunay na paglilingkod ay ang pagbibigay-kapangyarihan sa mamamayan – ang pagbubukas ng oportunidad sa edukasyon, kabuhayan, at serbisyong magpapabuti sa kanilang pamumuhay. Kapag ang mamamayan ay nagiging kabahagi sa pag-unlad, mas nagiging matatag at makabuluhan ang pagbabago,” the People’s Governor said.
Meanwhile, WCEJA Founder and Chairman Emma Cordero said the awards are testaments to what can happen when passion, dedication, and purpose come together.
“May this award serve not only as a symbol of achievement but also as a reminder that your work continues to inspire others,” she said, speaking to all awardees.
For a decade, the WCEJA has honored extraordinary leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, artists, professionals, and public servants whose achievements have inspired communities and transformed lives.
Other prominent awardees include Public Attorney’s Office Chief Persida Acosta, Sid Lucero, Mon Confiado, Angel Aquino, Rio Locsin, Ian De Leon, and Imelda Papin. (UnliNews Online)
