BALANGA CITY — Agents of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) – Bataan Provincial Office arrested three drug personalities and confiscated some Ph85,000.00 worth of suspected shabu following a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Jose, Balanga City, Bataan on Thursday afternoon (September 10).
PDEA Bataan Provincial Office identified the apprehended suspects as alias Binoy, male, 33 years old; alias Dabu, male, 27 years old; and alias Ram, male, 61 year old.
Operating teams recovered six pieces of plastic sachets containing approximately 12.5 grams (valued at P85,000) of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
Arrested suspects will be temporarily detained at PDEA-3 jail facility in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, while the confiscated illegal substances will undergo forensic examination and confirmatory testing at PDEA -3 laboratory.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives led by PDEA Bataan Provincial Office, PDEA Bataan Seaport Interdiction Unit, along with Balanga City Police Station.
Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being readied for filing in court against the arrested suspects. (UnliNews Online)
